The Role
We need a dedicated team player who, under the supervision of the Store Manager, will help achieve store sales targets. You will be responsible for various vital tasks necessary for maintaining store standards and ensuring all collections are merchandised according to set guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Greet customers entering the shop and create a welcoming environment.
- Assist clients in finding the products they are looking for and answer any queries.
- Provide advice and guidance on product selection, utilizing upselling techniques when appropriate.
- Responsibly deal with customer complaints and report discrepancies or problems to the manager.
Store Operations & Merchandising
- Keep the store tidy, clean, and visually appealing.
- Stock displays with merchandise, price items on the shop floor, and keep up to date with special promotions.
- Work within established brand guidelines to ensure collections are displayed correctly.
- Receive and store stock deliveries, and assist with general stock control and management.
Cash Handling & Security
- Process cash and card payments accurately.
- Balance cash registers with receipts at the end of shifts.
- Maintain security within the store, remaining vigilant for shoplifters, fraudulent credit cards, etc.
Requirements & Profile
- Experience: A minimum of 6 months experience in a similar sales position.
- Skills: Highly service-oriented with strong organizational skills and basic IT knowledge.
- Languages: Fluent in both Maltese and English.
- Personality: A friendly, confident, and engaging team player with a "can-do" attitude.
- Availability: Willing to work on weekends and public holidays. Must maintain a smart and presentable appearance.
