Dear Mvintage Community,
I don’t often put myself in the spotlight — I’ve always preferred to work quietly behind the scenes, pouring my heart into every part of Mvintage. But as Mother’s Day approaches, I feel it’s the perfect time to share a little more of my journey with you.
When I created Mvintage back in 2012, I was a woman full of dreams... and fears too. I didn’t have all the answers — I simply had a deep belief in my vision: to build a brand that empowered women through meaningful jewellery. What makes it even more special is that my daughter Francesca was born around the same time. In many ways, I’ve been raising two dreams side by side: my daughter and my brand.
Thirteen years later, I find myself not just leading Mvintage as Managing Director and Head Designer, but also raising a young woman who has grown up watching her mother chase a dream, fall, get up, and keep going.
Balancing the everyday realities of motherhood with the pressures of running a business hasn’t always been easy. There were days I doubted myself — wondering if I was present enough, if I was giving enough, if I was balancing the two worlds the way they deserved.
But if there’s one thing motherhood has taught me, it’s that love and dreams are not limited. They grow, they stretch, and they find ways to coexist.
Being a mother has made me stronger. It has influenced the woman I’ve become and the brand I’ve built. Every piece of jewellery I design is a reflection of the stories we carry as women — our struggles, our triumphs, our journeys.
Mvintage has never been just about creating beautiful pieces. It’s about meaning. It’s about legacy. It’s about strength.
Motherhood reminds me every day why I do what I do. It’s a constant inspiration — reminding me that resilience and tenderness can live side by side, that ambition and love can fuel each other.
As we approach Mother’s Day, I want to honour every woman navigating this incredible, complex role of being a mother — whether you are a mum, a mother figure, a mentor, or someone who carries a nurturing spirit within you.
I want to remind you that it’s okay to have dreams for yourself while you nurture the dreams of others. That it’s okay to stumble. That the most beautiful thing we can offer our children — and ourselves — is the example of a woman who dares to build her own world while loving fiercely.
This Mother’s Day, I celebrate you.
I celebrate all the mothers who are shaping their worlds, nurturing the next generation, and writing their own powerful stories.
Thank you for being an inspiration.
Thank you for being the heart of your family, your community, and your dreams.
Happy Mother’s Day,
Krystle Penza
