Mvintage Donates €10,000 in 6 months to Women Foundations

Mvintage has just donated an additional €5,000 from proceeds during Women’s week, to Dar Merhba Bik Foundation and Women for Women Foundation.

Thanks to this donation, Women for Woman have sponsored several laptops and ECDL courses to support women with motivation, and to empower them to invest in themselves and to advance their financial situation. The sponsor was also to show these women that they are capable of anything that they set their mind to achieve.

Dar Merhba Bik Foundation used this donation to offer therapy and counselling to women in need to find the strength to re-adapt to society again after suffering from domestic abuse. Having suffered through physical or mental abuse (or both), these women who seek refuge at Dar Merhba Bik require a lot of support and mental coaching for them to feel empowered again. Dar Merhba Bik Foundation used this donation to further educate these women on the value of money, job etiquette and other practices that, might seem basic to the common eye, but are fundamental for these women to get back on their feet and find courage and strength.

Mvintage, a female empowerment Maltese jewellery brand, always keeps women foundations and their needs at the forefront of its mission throughout the years. This was the second €5,000 donation in these past 6 months, bringing the total amount donated in the last 6 months to €10,000. Last September, Mvintage donated another €5,000 to these women Foundations generated from the Habbata women empowerment event after launching a collection which was specifically designed to empower women and encourage them to find their inner strength.

Women can choose who they want to be. They are strong, powerful and have the strength within themselves to rise against all obstacles. Mvintage will keep working to keep encouraging women and to keep building this women community, where women support each other and lift each other up.
