10 years ago, Mvintage was born. It started from a pipe dream. Krystle Penza wanted to leave a legacy behind for her daughter and combined her love for art and fashion to start her very own company. From a tiny kiosk at Tigne Point, Mvintage now has a total of six shops dotted all over the island and an online store which delivers worldwide.
These past 10 years were filled with hard work, huge sacrifices, ups and downs, challenges, a lot of perseverance and many milestones which made Mvintage the powerhouse it is today. Throughout the years, one thing stayed the same: the importance of Female Empowerment as the brand’s mantra.
Each piece, whether it is a necklace, charm bracelet or earrings radiates Female Empowerment. Women have the power within them to reach their wildest dreams. The sky is the limit! With every collection released, the message is always the same: to give women the ability to tell their story in their own way and imbuing them with the confidence they need to become the best version of themselves.
Maltese heritage features heavily, and this can be seen in collections such as il-Munita, il-Muftieħ, Reign, Il-Ħabbata and Is-Sigill. Various aspects of local traditions and heritage such as door knockers, manuscripts, the Maltese cross and even old brass keys, are infused with fashion and transformed into wearable jewellery for the modern woman.
While we cannot spill all the details, we can confidently say that Mvintage is only getting bigger and stronger. As a proud Maltese brand, Maltese heritage will still remain an important aspect of our brand, but one thing will never change no matter how much we grow and that is Female Empowerment.
