It’s that time of the year again; to celebrate the women who raised us and made us who we are, imparted wisdom and bestowed us with their best qualities. It’s time to celebrate MUM.
This year we want to focus on the many qualities that make her great. MUM has so many layers; she’s a therapist, a teacher, a friend.

This year we are featuring the special bond between Mvintage Founder and Designer Krystle Penza and her daughter Francesca. Krystle created the brand with the goal to build a legacy for her daughter; a legacy of hard work and determination, teaching her daughter that her dreams are always within reach. Mvintage was built on the foundation of empowering women by creating unique pieces with special meanings, meanings they could cherish and hold close to their heart as a reminder of their strength and beauty. Krystle wanted Mvintage to be a celebration of powerful women taking on the world and making a name for themselves. Here are a few choice words she had to share with us in celebration of Mother’s Day this year.
“I want to be a strong role model for my daughter and encourage her to follow her dreams. My own goal for the brand seemed like a pipe dream in the beginning but ambition and willpower saw me through, now 6 years later I’m so proud of what I’ve created. I want my daughter to grow up understanding that anything is within her reach as long as she strives enough for it and believes in herself. I hope that my brand can serve as a testament to this and inspiration for her future”
We also asked her darling daughter Francesca, age 6, what words she would use to describe her mum and here’s what she had to say
“My mummy is great and strong, when I grow up I want to be like her and make jewellery too”
