Our jewellery is infused with symbolism so that each woman can create her own personal narrative with the pieces she combines. What do we need?

We are looking for an outstanding individual to join our Creative team. As a full-time Retail Brand Designer, you will form part of our expanding marketing team and will be responsible for the upkeep and setting up of our stores, designing and creating attractive visual displays for all our outlets. As a creative and innovative thinker, you will use your skills in visual design and space utilization to enhance the aesthetic appeal of window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays in order to get buyer’s attention and to provide an excellent in-store experience. You will also work on developing packaging, and also merchandising for future products. Working on continuously developing the brand guidelines for the image of the shops.

Responsibilities

  • Develop the Brand guidelines to sell the products according to the business strategy.
  • Deliver engaging displays which attract customers to interact with.
  • Defining, designing and implementing a creative visual merchandising strategy
  • Creating appealing and eye-catching visual displays that lead the customer through the entire store
  • Producing window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions displays
  • Sourcing the props, creative materials, and accessories for displays.
  • Testing different visuals, comparing results and communicating these results to Management
  • Installing and setting up, or supervising staff and/or contractors hired for this purpose
  • Changing displays to promote new product launches and reflect festive or seasonal themes
  • Ensuring uniformity of displays across multiple store locations
  • Monitoring costs and working within budget
  • Liaising with suppliers and sourcing elements
  • Acting in alignment to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market
  • Researching lifestyle, demographics and design trends
  • Develop an omni channel experience, from shop, to website to the packaging.

 

What must you have?

  • Qualification in graphic design, visual communications, retail management, interior design or a related field
  • Experience in field visual merchandising, including window displays, signs, interior displays and space utilization
  • Proof of a strong visual portfolio
  • Experienced at using Adobe Creative Suite programs, such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or other visual design tools
  • Ability to commute between all our stores
