The Role
We need an emotionally intelligent and positive leader focused on the smooth running of our daily store operations. Your main objective will be to maximize sales, reach targets, and motivate your team to succeed in a sustainable and fun work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales & Strategy: Develop business strategies to expand store traffic, raise the customer pool, and optimize profitability.
- Lead the Team: Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to your sales staff. Conduct performance appraisals and build career paths.
- Customer Excellence: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through exceptional service and handle any staff or customer issues (complaints, grievances, etc.) smoothly.
- Operations & Visuals: Complete store administration, ensure compliance with policies, and maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards.
- Analytics: Report on buying trends, customer needs, and profits, while proposing innovative ideas to increase market share.
- Brand Ambassador: Sell Mvintage jewellery according to campaigns and customer wishes.
Requirements & Profile
- Experience: At least 1 year in a retail supervisory or managerial position. Experience in recruiting and training a team is highly preferred.
- Performance: A proven record of successfully meeting sales targets.
- Skills: Highly organized, methodical, data-oriented, and confident with IT systems.
- Languages: Fluent in English (Maltese is considered a strong asset).
- Personality: A friendly, confident, and engaging team player with a "can-do" attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Availability: Reliable, committed, and willing to work on weekends and public holidays. Must maintain a smart and presentable appearance.
